Police say Mark Robateau last seen alive on Sunday night

Police investigations into the death of Santa Elena resident Mark David Robateau, 28, continue, even as they have labelled the case a “sudden death.” Robateau’s body was retrieved from the Macal River near the wooden bridge in San Ignacio town just after 9 am on Monday. Police say that their initial investigation reveals that Robateau was last seen alive around 9 pm on Sunday. Police say that Robateau’s body showed no signs of physical injuries.
