Church burglary reported in Toledo

A church in the Toledo district was the victim of a burglary this past weekend. It happened in the village of San Jose, Toledo.
Sometime between 9 pm on Saturday and 8 am on Sunday, someone broke into the San Jose Roman Catholic church and stole two speakers valued at $200.
In the process of the burglary, police say that a gold-colored Chalice and the center piece of the Tabernacle were destroyed by fire.
Police investigations continue.
