Rotary Club of San Ignacio renovates park in Santa Elena town
It was a sunny and warm Saturday morning in Santa Elena town, Cayo; but that did not stop members of the San Ignacio Rotary Club from coming out for a work day at the Rotary Park.
Several members, including the president of the club Sheree Fukai showed up on Saturday morning to help prepare the park for the installation of new playground equipment.
The equipment, which is coming from Canada, will be installed in March and the children of the area will have a much improved playground to enjoy and have fun.
The president of the San Ignacio Rotary Club Sheree Fukai explains to Patrick Jones about the service day and the equipment:
The improvements will also bring aesthetic improvements to the area which is right next to the fire station in Santa Elena.
