By Senior National Correspondent on March 31, 2015
26 year old Jaime Chavarria was killed in a shooting incident last night on Berkley Street in Belize City. Police say they got to the crime scene around 7:10 pm on Monday and found Chavarria lying face up on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Initial investigations by the police show that Chavarria was walking through an alley around 7 o’clock when he was approached by an assailant who fired several shots at him, fatally wounding Chavariia.
Chavarria’s body now lies at the morgue at the Karl Heusner Memorial hospital awaiting a post mortem examination.
