Education officers meet in Dangriga town
The Delille Spiritual Life Center in Dangriga town was the venue for a gathering of education managers.
The purpose of the meeting held last week was to bring everybody up to speed with projects and programs within the Ministry of Education and hear reports on district-level activities.
The meeting was attended by District education managers and education officers from all over the country.
Discussions during the course of the two days of the meeting focussed on school supervision and monitoring, financial assistance and work challenges and achievements.
Presenters included the Chief Executive Officer David Leacock, researcher from the Planning Unit Bernaldino Pech, and Finance Officer Dylan Reneau.
The next meeting of District Education managers and Education Officers will be held in Corozal town.
