Chopping incident in San Ignacio town

San Ignacio town, Cayo. Monday, April 6, 2015. A twenty year old San Ignacio man was the victim of a chopping incident on Easter Sunday.
Preliminary reports indicate that Steven Cruz was chopped during an incident on Easter Sunday by The Family bakery, formerly Espiga de Oro, in San Ignacio town.
Cruz, who is handicapped, is now at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital undergoing treatment.
Sources say that a group of youth was after a sibling of the twenty year old man, and when the intended victim managed to escape, Steven was chopped multiple times.
