Wayne Rocke is shot to death in Belize City

Belize City. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. A shooting incident on Monday night in Belize City has claimed the life of 29 year old Wayne Rocke.

Rocke was fatally wounded around 7:15 pm on Monday on Reggae Street.

Police say that when they responded to reports of the shooting five minutes after it happened, they found Rocke’s body with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground.

Police say their initial investigation reveals that Rocke was sitting down at the rear passenger side of a van when he was approached by a gunman who fired several shots in his direction, causing the fatal injuries.

The body of Wayne Rocke is now at the morgue awaiting a post mortem examination while the police investigations continue.
