Unidentified body pulled from the Mopan River in Succotz village

Benque Viejo del Carmen, Cayo. Monday, May 11, 2015. Police in Benque Viejo del Carmen retrieved the body of a man from the Mopan River in San Jose Succotz village on Sunday afternoon.
The identity of the man has not yet been determined.
Police say that around 1:30 on Sunday afternoon they received information of the body of a Hispanic person floating in the river.
The body, clad in grey shirt and khaki cargo pants, is of a man believed to be in his early thirties and about 5 feet 3 inches tall, with straight shoulder-length hair.
Police say they were no signs of injury on the body, which now awaits a post mortem examination.
