Youth charged for beating up teenager in Ladyville

Belize City, Belize. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Twenty-two year old Casey Lozano, one of two persons who allegedly beat 17 year old Anferee Anderson with a piece of stick, was charged with grievous harm when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith.
Lozano was also charged with conspiracy to commit grievous harm and use of deadly means of harm.
He was offered a bail of $500 and his case was adjourned until September 14.
The incident occurred on July 10 in Ladyville.
Anderson reported to the police that he was attacked by two persons and one of them beat him with a piece of stick and broke his left jawbone.
