San Ignacio town, Cayo. Sunday, August 9, 2015. The championship game of the 2015 Adventures Sports Club Female Football tournament is taking place today at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio town.

Real West Strikers is trying their best to upset the Rising Starz which went undefeated during the regular season and blasted the Strikers 4-0 in the first game of the two game championship series.

Today’s match, which is being broadcast live on The National Channel, TNC, got off to a fast start and in the 5th minute of play, Chantelle Robinson put Rising Starz ahead when she scored the first goal of the ballgame.

The second goal of the ballgame came in the 16th minute of play when Reyna Augustine shook the back of the net.

With the two coals today, combined with the four from last week, Rising Starz now has a huge goal difference and appears set to claim the 2015 championship.

The bleachers are packed with spectators who came out to witness today’s championship ballgame.

At the conclusion of the game, the organizers will be presenting the awards to individual players as well as the trophies and medals to the winning teams.
