Rain brings flooding to Libertad village, Corozal
Saturday, October 17, 2015. Libertad, Corozal. Continuous rainfall in the last couple of days has resulted in some flooding in Libertad village, Corozal.
Residents are busy clearing out drains, and digging new ones to try and help the water run off of their property.
Moist and unstable conditions are predicted to continue at least for the rest of he weekend.
The Belize Weather Bureau says that it will be cloudy to overcast here in the north for the rest of the day.
Some showers, a few thunderstorms and periods of rain will occur mostly over the north and central areas of the country.
The forecast for Sunday and Monday is for continuing cloudy skies with some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain mainly over the northern part of the country.
