New patrol vehicles for the Police Department

Belmopan, CAYO. Wednesday, November 11, 2015. The Belize Police department today received a fleet of 10 new patrol vehicles.
Commissioner of Police Allen Whylie this morning took receipt of the vehicles from Minister of National Security John Saldivar in Belmopan.
A government press release says that the fleet of vehicles was purchased at a cost of $280,000.
They will be assigned to police formations in Belize City, Ladyville, Belmopan, Dangriga, San Ignacio and Independence.
One of the vehicles will also be assigned to the Special Patrol Unit in Belmopan.
