Warmer, drier weather conditions setting in
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Monday, March 7, 2016. Yolanda Habet-Jones Reporting. Improving weather conditions will mean warmer temperatures around the country in the coming days.
The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for cloudy skies at times this afternoon.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, then mostly sunny on Tuesday.
The winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots, but will shift to the east-southeast tonight, blowing at between 10 and 20 knots.
The sea state is currently choppy, but will become moderate tonight.
Temperatures will range from a high of 84 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon along the coast, to a low of 78 degrees Fahrenheit tonight.
Inland the high temperature this afternoon will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit while the low tonight will be a comfortable 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tides are currently low. They will be high at 9:05 pm and low again at 3:37 am.
The sunset today is at 6:01 pm. Sunrise on Tuesday is at 6:06 am.
The extended forecast, valid through to Wednesday afternoon is for fair and dry weather along with windy conditions.
