Fire guts building in Punta Gorda town
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Saturday, January 7, 2017. A house was gutted by fire on Friday night in Punta Gorda town, Toledo.
Personnel from the PG Fire Service responded to reports of a fire around 6:25 pm on Friday and upon their arrival at the scene on Voice of America Road, they found a wooden structure with zinc roofing engulfed in flames.
The 26 feet by 30 feet building was being occupied by two persons, including Mario “Alien” Noralez, neither of whom was at home at the time of the fire.
The wooden structure and all of its contents were completely destroyed by the fire.
A joint investigation involving the Fire Department and the police is now underway to try and determine the cause of the fire.
