Cool and windy weather conditions prevail
San Ignacio, CAYO. Monday, January 30, 2017. Cool and windy conditions will continue to affect the country for the next day or so.
The general forecast is for variably cloudy skies, along with windy and cool conditions. Little or no rainfall is expected.
Winds are northerly at between 15 and 25 knots, decreasing this afternoon to between 10 and 20 knots with higher gusts. The sea state is rough.
Operators of small craft are asked to exercise caution in rough seas.
High temperatures today will reach 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 80 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 66 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Low temperatures tonight will be around 66 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 57 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 53 degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations.
The tides will be high at midday and low at 5:31 pm.
The sunset today is at 5:47 pm and sunrise on Tuesday is at 6:25 am.
The extended forecast, valid through to Wednesday is for variably cloudy skies, with windy and cool conditions. Little of no rainfall is expected.
