Woman stabbed during early morning fight
Two women are in police custody pending charges following a stabbing incident in Belize City early this morning.
The incident happened on North Front Street. Police say that a group of friends was walking on North Front Street when a woman alighted a taxi car and started an argument with one of the women in the group.
A struggle ensured between the two women during which Actesia Nunez, 23 intervened to try to part the fight.
For her attempt at peacemaking, Nunez was allegedly stabbed multiple times by one of the fighting women.
Acteshia Nunez was stabbed to the right shoulder, right side of her chest, behind her left ear and to the left elbow.
The feuding women have been detained by police, pending charges.
