Adrienne Galanek’s farewell message to Belize
Belmopan, CAYO. Tuesday, July 17, 2018. After three years on the job as Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Belmopan, Adrienne Galanek is bidding farewell to Belize.
The U.S. embassy in Belmopan this afternoon released a 2 minutes and 30 seconds farewell video message on its Facebook page in which Galanek thanked the people of Belize for their hospitality and friendship during her posting in Belmopan.
“It has been a tremendous honor for me to serve as Charge d’affaires ad interim. I have learned so much from you; I’m impressed each and every day by all that you do and your contribution to making the jewel shine brightly,” Galanek said.

Galanek hailed the many unsung heroes in Belize and celebrated the many partnerships achieved during her tenure.
“I leave confident that the friendship between the United States and Belize is strong and enduring. Together we have shown a commitment to cooperation in the field of citizens security, economic prosperity, good governance, environmental protection, health, human rights and education that will continue to build connections between our two nations.”
