Afternoon thunderstorm damages house in Dangriga
By Patrick E. Jones on December 20, 2013
The house of a Dangriga man was damaged during heavy rain on Wednesday evening.
The house, which we are told belongs to Aaron Nolberto, is located in the Benguche area of Dangriga town.
Residents of the area describe the incident as a “mini tornado” which brought strong gusts of winds.
The extent of the damage seems to have been limited to the roofing being torn up, and possibly water damage as a result of the zinc that was blown off.
The amount of the damage to the house is not yet known.
