Ambassadors present credentials
Belmopan, CAYO. Wednesday, September 18, 2019. There are three new faces in the Diplomatic Corps in Belize.
Representatives of the Republic of South Korea, the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Zambia today presented their credentials to Governor General Sir Colville Young at Belize House in Belmopan, designating them as ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary.
According to an official press release, Ambassador Yang Hyung II is South Korea’s representative in Belize; Ambassador Cosmas Cheppy Tripraksoso Wartono is Indonesia’s representative in Belize while Dr. Ngosa Simbyakula is High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia.
The official Communique from Belize House explains that each of the diplomats expressed best wishes to the people and government of Belize on the 38th anniversary of our Independence.
The Ambassadors and High Commissioner also conveyed their respective country’s intentions to continue to strengthen diplomatic relations with Belize.
