Anti-drug operation finds marijuana in orange orchard
By Patrick E. Jones on April 1, 2015
An orange orchard is supposed to yield … oranges, right? But a recent anti-drug operation by police in the Stann Creek district found bags of marijuana.
The anti-drug operation was carried out late last month in Alta Vista village, Stann Creek.
The official police report says that during the search of an orange orchard, officers found “three black plastic bags containing a total of 1,882 grams of cannabis.”
The police say no one was in the area at the time of the discovery and the marijuana was been labeled and deposited as “found property.”
