BDF receives donation of trucks from British government
By Patrick E. Jones on July 11, 2013
The Belize Defence Force (BDF) on Wednesday received a donation of 17 four-ton trucks from the British Army Training Support Unit Belize, BATSUB.
The trucks were handed over to the BDF Commander, Brigadier General David Jones during brief ceremonies at Price Barracks in Ladyville.
The donation was handed over by British High Commissioner to Belize Pat Ashworth.
According to the BDF Commander, the trucks will go a long way in helping with the mobilization of troops, particularly in remote areas such as in the Toledo district.
