BDF storeroom burglarized in Punta Gorda town

Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Thursday, February 25, 2016. An assortment of boots and uniforms belonging to the Belize Defence Force, BDF, has been reported stolen from the Fairweather Camp in Punta Gorda town.
The Quarter Master reported to police that sometime between 6 pm on Tuesday and 10:30 am on Wednesday, the storeroom on the north side of the Fairweather Camp compound was burglarized.
Whoever burglarized the facility gained entrance to the storeroom by prying open the padlock on the front door.
The official police report did not say exactly how many boots and uniforms were stolen, but a police investigation is ongoing.
