BECOL spreads Christmas cheer in San Ignacio/Santa Elena
Santa Elena, CAYO. Tuesday, December 20, 2016. There were tears of joy today in the twin towns of San Ignacio/Santa Elena as families received Christmas hampers from Belize Electric Company Limited, BECOL.
The families were chosen to receive the hampers through the collaborative effort of BECOL and the Cornerstone Foundation.
It was a complete surprise to the recipients and through tears they expressed gratitude for the courtesy that was extended to them for the Christmas.
According to Oscar Alonzo from BECOL, the joy of giving back to the community is part of his organization’s corporate citizenship.
Rita DeFour from the Cornerstone Foundation says her organization was pleased to have been invited to be a part of this year’s Christmas Hampers program.
