Belize and Taiwan continue relations
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO, June 20, 2018. Belize and Taiwan will continue strong diplomatic relations.
That’s according to President Tsia-Ing-wen.
The Taiwanese president made the statement during a meeting with the Speaker of Belize’s House of Representatives Laura Longsworth who is part of our delegation currently in Taiwan on an official visit.
That visit began on Monday and concludes on Friday of this week.
Taiwan and Belize are well known for their strong diplomatic relations since 1989 resulting in their continuous exchange.
This partnership once capitalized on will only bring profitable ties spanning areas like business, finance, law and healthcare.
This mutual connection as well as regular visits from both sides is committed to expand, deepen both economic and trademark relations with Belize.
The government issued agricultural growth and ventures to Belize in March of this year and representations from Belize have been welcomed in a variety of exhibitions.
Belize has been afforded the opportunity and has had long standing diplomatic relations and been given the consistent support to Taiwan which hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Other members of Belize’s delegation include President of the Senate Lee Mark Chang and Senator Stephen Duncan.
