Belize finishes impressive CONCACAF U-15 participation
Belize’s impressive participation in the inaugural CONCACAF Under 15 Championship staged in Grand Cayman, has ended.
Although Team Belize crushed their Grenadian opponents 6 goals to 1 on Tuesday evening, the victory was not enough to propel Belize any further.
Belize ended group play with 9 points; 10 goals in favor; 3 goals against for a goal difference of plus 7.
Top scorers for Belize were Randy Augustine who scored 4 goals in the competition, followed by Alvin Sifontes who scored 3 goals.
Mark Leslie scored 2 goals and Rene Leslie scored 1 goal. Guatemala emerged the winner in the group in which Belize played with 11 points and has advanced to the semi finals.
Congratulations to Team Belize.
