Belize is experiencing sunny weather today
A fresh southeasterly airflow is maintaining good weather over Belize, with lots of sunshine. Skies will be sunny today and partly cloudy tonight.
Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated. Winds over the open sea and along the coast will be easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots with occasional higher gusts.
The sea state will be moderate to rough. Operators of small craft are advised that a caution remains in effect. High temperatures tonight will be around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Low temperatures tonight will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit along coastal areas, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland. It will be a cool 66 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
The tides: there will be a high tide at 12:41 pm.
It will be followed by a low tide at 6:11 pm. The sun will set at 5:24 pm today, Saturday. It will rise again at 6:19 am on Sunday.
The extended forecast, valid through to Sunday afternoon is for continuing fair weather conditions to prevail.
