Belize to take part in CONCACAF U-15 football tournament
Belize will have representation at the Concacaf U-15 championship tournament which will be held in Grand Cayman from August 14 to August 25.
The team, comprising 18 players and a coaching/technical staff of 4, is scheduled to travel to Georgetown, Grand Cayman on Monday.
Taking the trip to play in the tournament are: Elton Kenrick Gordon, Jamir Estevan Alpuche, Karl Michael Haylock, Dale Daniel Pelayo, Rogi Alexei Solorzano, Kowat Travis Nicholas, Marlom Emmanuel Garcia, Randy Santos Augustine, Trey Jaheed Harris, Mark Anthony Samuels, Dylan Keating Rhys, Brandon Joseph Cante, Wayne Alexander Cadle, Sammy Gerard Sosa, Charles Winston James, Alvin Omar Sifontes, Shevon Shamar Butenschoen and Rene Terrence Leslie.
Making up the coaching/technical staff are: Head Coach: Renan Arturo Couoh Escobedo; Assistant Coach: Alex Jason Noralez; Physical Trainer: Dennis Dale Serano and Equipment Manager: Herbert Trapp Jr.
The Cayman Islands will host this year’s edition of the CONCACAF Under-15 Championship, the first regional championship held by the Confederation for young men at this level.
Twenty-four teams from across the region will participate in the event, to be held at four different venues on Grand Cayman.
