Belizean soldier attends military training in USA
Belize is represented in a 10-week training course for military officials and senior managers of defence departments.
Captain Eric Neal, who also serves as the Aide de Camp for the Governor General is one of 36 participants from 23 countries taking part in the course which is being held at the prestigious Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
The course started on October 7 and will conclude on December 13.
Among the topics being covered in the training is how to effectively allocate defence resources, economics and budgeting and logistics forecasting.
Training participants are also being instructed on how to assess threat levels and adequately allocate resources to readily meet those threats.
