Belmopan woman says she was gang-raped

A woman from Belmopan has reported that she was the victim of a gang rape on Saturday night. 

The 22 year old went to the police station around 2:45 am on Sunday, December 8, to report the alleged sexual assault. 

According to the woman who works as a waitress, she was on her way to work around 11 pm on Saturday when she accepted a ride in a pickup truck with four men inside. 

As the vehicle neared her workplace, the woman says that she notified the driver to stop, but he continued driving until they reached a dark location.

The woman told police she was threatened to be killed if she did not do as she was told. 

The woman says that two of the men then forced her to perform oral sex on them, followed by three of the four men having sexual intercourse with her against her will. 

Police investigations continue.
