Boy chops man in Red Bank village

Red Bank, STANN CREEK. Tuesday, May 23, 2017. A 15 year old boy is in police detention pending charges after the teenager allegedly chopped a man to the neck and forearm.
Due to his age, the name of the child’s name cannot be revealed.
The chopping incident happened in Red Bank village, Stann Creek on Monday afternoon.
Police say that according to their investigations, the boy just walked up to 30 year old Manuel Sho who was sitting on a picnic table and chopped him to the neck and right forearm.
The attack, according to the information given to the police, was for no apparent reason as there was no altercation or even an exchange of words between the two.
Manuel Sho was taken first to the Independence Polyclinic for medical treatment and was later transferred to the Southern Regional in Dangriga town.
