Bus driver from Benque suspected of driving while intoxicated
A man from Benque Viejo del Carmen is in big trouble after police caught him allegedly driving a passenger bus while intoxicated.
William Ayala, 44, has been charged for the driving a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit.
Police did not say how intoxicated Ayala was, but brought charges against him after receiving the results of a urine test conducted on Friday afternoon.
A police report issued over the weekend said that police found Ayala inside of a Guerra’s bus that was parked on the side of the George Price Highway on Friday afternoon.
He smelled of alcohol, which promoted the police to caution him, and then take him to the Racoon Street police station where a urine sample was taken and sent for testing.
