Butane price goes up on Saturday

Belmopan, CAYO. Friday, January 12, 2018. Belizeans will pay more for butane, also known as Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) starting this weekend.
An official release from the Supplies Control Unit of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Commerce, announced today that the price for a 100 pound cylinder of butane will cost $7 more starting on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
The announced increase in LPG will see consumers in Punta Gorda town (Toledo) paying the highest for butane, at $109 for the one hundred pound cylinder.
Belize City consumers will now pay $104 for the same amount of butane gas.
