Children taken from Belmopan school without permission
Belmopan, CAYO. Monday, February 29, 2016. A foster mother from Belmopan is appealing to the general public for help in locating a set of twins that was taken without permission from the Garden City Primary School in the nation’s capital this morning.
The boy, Alex, and the girl, Alexia, were taken out of the school compound about ten minutes after they were dropped off this morning by foster mother Roxiemae Williams.
The distraught foster mother believes that the children’s biological parents bullied their way onto the school’s compound and took the children without authorization.
Williams says she had informed the principal previously that the biological parents were not to come near the children and believes that Alex and Alexia were taken either to Belize City, or somewhere in the Belize District.
A police report was made this morning and the Human Development Department was also informed on the incident and authorities are looking for the children.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the abducted twins is asked to call the nearest police station at 911, or the foster mother Roxiemae Williams at telephone number 620-6640.
