Cold front cools things down
San Ignacio, CAYO. Monday, November 30, 2020. A cold front crossing the country tonight will bring with it cloudy skies, windy and cool conditions heading into Tuesday.
By daybreak, we can expect periods of rain to linger over coastal, southern and offshore areas of the country.Overnight winds will shift from the east-northeast, to north-north-westerly, pushing the anemometer to between 15 and 25 knots, gusting at times. The sea state will be slight.
Low temperatures at dawn will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit/22 degrees Celsius along the coast, to 66 degrees Fahrenheit/19 degrees Celsius inland. It will be a chilly 62 degrees Fahrenheit/17 degrees Celsius up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
For the fisher folks, tides will be high at 9:35 pm today and low at 4:58 am on Tuesday.
Sunrise is at 6:07 am on Tuesday with sunset forecast at 5:16 pm.
The extended forecast valid through to Wednesday is for cloudy skies, windy and cool weather along with periods of rain mainly offshore and along coastal areas of the country.
