Conch season closes on Friday, June 24

Belmopan, CAYO. Tuesday, June 21, 2016. The Fisheries Department today announced that the Queen Conch season will close on Friday, June 24.
The advisory sent out today informs restaurateurs and the general public that all Queen Conch meat in their possession must be disposed of by Friday.
After June 24, anyone found in possession of Queen Conch meat will face prosecution under the Fisheries Regulations.
The Conch season reopens on October 1, 2016.
