Contracts signed for sport facilities rehabilitation
Belmopan. Monday, June 1, 2015. Two contracts for the rehabilitation and upgrading of sporting facilities in Southern Belize were signed today at the office of the Belize Infrastructure Limited.
According to a government press release, the contract for the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga Town was awarded to Hubert L. Usher & Sons Construction of Dangriga.
For the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Toledo Union Field and Facilities in Punta Gorda Town, the contract was awarded to Coleman Construction Ltd. of Hattieville village, Belize District.
The estimated completion time of each project is 10 months.
The contracts were signed by representatives of the respective companies.
Signing on behalf of government was the Minister of Public Works Rene Montero and Christy Mastry, General Manager of Belize Infrastructure Limited.
