Corozal man wanted for robbery; another arrested
Police in Corozal have issued a Wanted Bulletin for Robert Hill, 37. Hill, according to police was found in possession of a car belonging to Corozal taxi driver Gregorio Monteroso which was reported stolen on Monday night in Corozal town. Police say Hill and another man, identified as Edwin Bardalez, 26, of a Belize City address were found pushing the car in Orange Walk town. Authorities say that when officers approached the duo, Bardalez pointed a gun at the police.
Police were able to arrest Bardalez and charge for the crime of aggravated assault and jointly with Hill for the crime of handling stolen goods. In addition to being wanted for the Corozal robbery, Robert Hill is also wanted on a police warrant issued in Orange Walk town for the crime of robbery. Hill is also wanted by the San Ignacio police. The police’s Wanted Bulletin describes Hill as being “armed and dangerous.” Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Robert Hill is asked to call the nearest police station immediately.
