Crack cocaine and marijuana arrests made in Placencia village
Placencia, Stann Creek. Monday, May 11, 2015. Police in Placencia village, Stann Creek, under the leadership of Inspector Dennis Miles continues to score successes in their fight against crime on the Peninsula.
A week ago, officers stopped and searched 39 year old Devon Logan as he walked on the sidewalk in Placencia.
During the search, police say they found 14 grams of crack cocaine.
Logan was arrested and charged for the offence of drug trafficking.
In other news … today, Placencia Police’s Quick Response Team conducted a search at the residence of 22 year old Akeem Tejeda.
During the search, police found 111 grams of suspected cannabis. Eighteen year old Stephon Andrews who was in the company of Tejeda during the search was jointly charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
If the name Akeem Tejada sounds familiar, that is because a few months ago, Tejeda along with his brother were arrested and charged for similar offences of Drug Trafficking.
