Demonstration against corruption to be held in Belize City
By Patrick E. Jones on November 1, 2013
The Supreme Court building in Belize City will be the staging ground for a demonstration on Saturday.
Organizers of the event are appealing to all citizens who are concerned about the need for change in Belize’s culture of corruption to take part in tomorrow’s demonstration which is scheduled to run from 8 am until 2 pm.
Saturday’s demonstration is part of a global event designed to march against corruption.
Organizers say that concerned citizens from more than 60 cities around the world will be marching near city halls, capitols, courthouses and other locations where corruption exists.
