Disaster management planning meeting held in Orange Walk

Orange Walk Town, ORANGE WALK. Saturday, February 10, 2018. District Emergency Coordinators for Corozal and Orange Walk met on Thursday for a Disaster Management Planning session.
In addition to the emergency coordinators, the meeting, which was held at the new NEMO operations center in Orange Walk town, had in attendance the Minister of National Emergency Management Organization Edmund Castro, Chief Executive Officer Ruth Meighan and National Emergency Coordinator Colonel Shelton FeFour.
During the meeting, Minister Castro noted that NEMO is the best run national emergency management organization in the region.He also emphasized that NEMO is fully engaged in training, planning and preparation all year round.
The emergency coordinator in Orange Walk is Suleima Celiz, assisted by Michael Neal.
In Corozal the coordinator is Willard Levy, assisted by Ronnie Hernandez.
