Dismembered body of Roaring Creek man found
Roaring Creek village, Cayo. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. The search for a Roaring Creek man repored missing by his common-law wife came to a tragic end on Tuesday morning when his body was found in an area near the Agripino Cawich bridge on the Valley of Peace Road.
The dismembered body of 28 year old Edilberto Madrid was found in the Young Bank area of Roaring Creek village yesterday morning.
Due to the advanced state of decomposition, plans were being made late yesterday for a quick burial right after an onsite post mortem examination was completed.
Police have reserved comment on the ongoing investigation pending the findings of the police pathologist.
Police say that on Tuesday, Madrid’s common-law wife Julie Fernandez made an official missing person’s report, saying that he left her at a grocery store in Roaring Creek village around 7 am on Sunday and did not return.
Belmopan police continue their investigations into this latest homicide in Roaring Creek.
