Fair and mostly dry conditions prevail; good weather this weekend
San Ignacio, CAYO. Friday, January 27, 2017. Fair and mostly dry conditions will dominate the weather over our area for the weekend.
The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight will be partly cloudy.
Showers, if any, will be isolated. Winds over the open sea and along the coast will be easterly at between 5 and 15 knots. The sea state will be light chop.
High temperatures today will be around 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 78 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Low temperatures tonight will range from 73 degrees Fahrenheit along coastal areas, to 64 degrees Fahrenheit inland. It will be a chilly 60 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas.
Tides will be low at 3:29 pm and high at 9:45 pm.
The sunset today is at 5:45 pm. Sunrise on Saturday will be at 6:26 am.
The extended forecast, valid through to Sunday is for continuing mainly fair weather with only isolated showers developing on Saturday, then some cloudy spells and a few showers mostly along the coast of the southern Belize tomorrow night.
