Fair weather conditions at the start of the week
San Ignacio, CAYO. Sunday, November 13, 2016. Mainly sunny weather is affecting Belize this Sunday afternoon as mainly fair conditions prevail.
High temperature today will be in the lo 90’s inland and mid 80’s along coastal areas.
And with 17 days left in the 2016 Hurricane Season, there is no significant tropical weather systems that pose a threat to Belize.
But there is a better than 50% chance for the slow development of a broad area of low pressure over the southwestern Caribbean Sea this week.
Forecasters at the Miami-based National Hurricane Center believe that environmental conditions will be conducive for slow development of this weather system as it drifts northward to northwestward over the next 5 days or so.
