Fair weather conditions prevail
Orange Walk town, ORANGE WALK. Saturday, December 17, 2016. Mainly fair conditions are prevailing over the country this weekend.
The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters for Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning is for a few cloudy spells on Saturday afternoon.
It will also be sunny.
Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy and shower activity will be isolated.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots, producing choppy to moderate sea conditions.
High temperatures today will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to ninety degrees Fahrenheit inland. It will be a comfortable 77 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Low temperatures at dawn on Sunday will be around 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 68 degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
The tides: a low tide occurs at 6:17 pm. A high tide is at 12:27 am Sunday.
The sunset is at 5:22 pm and it rises again at 6:17 am on Sunday.
The extended forecast, valid through to Monday is for mainly fair weather with only isolated showers expected.
