My cashier failed to include several receipts in our accounting books and never reported to have this money. I did an audit and when I asked the cashier said “no clue how that is possible.” I had to go back 3 months since she was hired and spent all xmas & new years checking books ( i was ill during those 3 months). Total was about $2300. I can’t imagine taking her to court but people who go about stealing should know that it can have legal repercussions.
