Grafting techniques for agriculture students in Toledo
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO Friday, November 3, 2017. The Agriculture Department in Toledo this week facilitated training sessions in grafting techniques for students enrolled in the Agriculture Course being offered y the University of Belize.
Joining the UB students were Agriculture Extension Officers from the Humana organization in Toledo.
The training was held at the Agriculture Department compound in Elridge village and focused on two grafting techniques.
These included air layering and wedge grafting.
Facilitators included Agriculture Extension Officers Densford Mangar and Roman Torres.
They were supported in their facilitation by Agriculture tutor at the University of Belize Francisco Tzul.
We applaud the participants of the training and the Agriculture Department for facilitating the forum.
