GSU carries out raids in Roaring Creek village

Roaring Creek, Cayo. Saturday, April 25, 2015. The Gang Suppression Unit (GSU), today conducted an operation in Roaring Creek village, Cayo.
The operation started at 6 am and by the time it was concluded three hours later, close to a dozen persons were in police custody pending charges.
According to the Commander of the GSU Inspector Mark Flowers, the operation was carried out in areas of Roaring Creek where there have been a recent spike in crimes, including murder.
The persons who were detained in the GSU operation this morning are expected to be formally arraigned in the Belmopan Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
