Hattieville, BELIZE. Monday, March 13, 2017. A Hattieville village man was murdered on Saturday night.

The victim has been identified as 45 year old Michael Usher.

Police say Usher was sitting on the verandah of the house he was living on Foster Drive in Hattieville, when he was ambushed and fatally wounded.

The incident happened around 8:45 pm on Saturday and Usher succumbed to the injuries around 11:45 pm.

Police say the shooter fired several shots which found their marks on Usher’s head and chest.

Investigations continue.
