Home invasion reported in Belize City

A home invasion has been reported in Belize City.
It happened on Monday night on Partridge Street.
Two men, one of who carried a black handgun accosted Edison Gabourel and his wife as they watched television around 7:55 pm.
The men, described as being of “dark skin” ordered the couple to the floor and proceeded to rob them of electronic items, jewelry and cash totaling $6,150.
Both persons made good their escape. Police investigations continue.
