Hot weather conditions prevail

Friday, April 26, 2019 | PUNTA GORDA, TOLEDO. Warm and mostly dry conditions continue to dominate our weather heading into the weekend.

The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for sunny skies this afternoon.

Tonight will be partly cloudy. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Winds are easterly at between 5 and 15 knots, producing choppy to moderate sea conditions.

Low temperatures this afternoon will be around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 84 degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations.

The tides: a high tide occurs at 2:40 pm, followed by a low tide at 10:51 pm. Another high tide occurs at 6:06 am on Saturday.

The sun sets at 6:11 pm. It rises at 5:28 am on Saturday.

The extended forecast, valid through to Sunday is for continuing mainly fair weather conditions to prevail.
